Tiny Painter

We've been enjoying a big painting moment at our house of late. Mabel is deeply loyal to abstraction, Bill goes in almost entirely for representation, and I seem to waffle between the two. We are all so happy when we're painting that I tend to forget to snap any photos of the painting process (though I do generally remember to record the finished results--and will in due course show you some of those, here, some other fine day). So, needless to say, I am utterly in love with this series of photos my dad (who is good at both painting and photography, and somehow miraculously managed here to do both at once) took of Mabel while he was babysitting her, and he and she were painting together, the other weekend. At the bottom of the post you can see some of the pictures they made.
